For over two years Boston Original Bands Initiative has been bringing a mixture of original music each month to venues in Boston. This month sees three different musical genres. Spekkoids haven't been on the scene for long but their blend of riff-driven melodic punk that reminds you of Joy Division has grown a strong fanbase. Local lad Joaquin Guzman, always a well-received musician, leads his band Pure Honey with their indie rock. Rather more difficult to pinpoint, Hedgehog Reality, who have travelled around the UK since 2019, claim to be genre-mixing pop. Best you come along and make up our own minds.
